Choose the appropriate size straw, place the straw in your cup, and sip your beverage. Enjoy!

Tfees™  straws are not recommended for drinks with high pulp. The narrow tube is designed for slow sipping.

What does BPA mean?

BPA stands for biphenol A. It is an industrial chemical used in certain plastic products. When these products become hot, BPA can be released into the contents of the product. When it is consumed, exposure to BPA can negatively affect the brain and is especially harmful to fetuses, infants, and children. Products made with BPA cannot be heated in microwaves, cleaned in dishwashers, or even left in the sun for too long, as the material will begin to break down from the heat.

What is estrogenic activity (EA)? Androgenic activity (AA)?

Estrogen and testosterone are hormones that are essential to many important biological processes in animals and humans, including sexual differentiation and development. Studies have suggested that certain synthetic and naturally occurring chemicals can interfere with these processes and lead to adverse effects. Endocrine disruptors are defined as chemicals that can activate or inhibit the human endocrine system and ultimately lead to adverse health effects. Among endocrine disruptors, chemicals that mimic estrogen and testosterone in living animals are said to be estrogenic (EA) and androgenic (AA), respectively.

What is Tritan?

Tritan is an amorphous copolyester. The material is derived from vegetable based sources, so it is free of BPA, EA, AA and carcinogens. The characteristics of Tritan include excellent clarity and heat- and shatter-resistance. It is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for repeated use in contact with food and beverages.

Did you know...

White wine contributes to stained teeth, too! Although it doesn't have much color, the acid in white wine erodes enamel, leaving it open to staining.

Tooth enamel is the strongest substance in the body. It protects your teeth from wear, heat, and cold. But when enamel erodes, the nerves of your teeth are too open to stimulation. That's what causes pain!

All teas stain your teeth. Just like berries, tea is good for you, but can cause tooth staining and erosion.
